Suspending a Computer

A primary account holder can suspend a computer. Suspending the computer prevents the computer from completing any more backups or restoring any files. The computer can be unsuspended if necessary.

  1. Log into your Vault website and access the Users and Settingstab.

  2. In the Manage My Backed Up Computers section of the page click Edit, adjacent to the computer you will be editing. The Edit Backup Settings page is displayed.

  3. Click Suspend computer.
  4. Click Save to proceed with the Suspend or click Cancel to abort the process. If you saved then the Suspend popup window will be displayed.

  5. Click OK to continue with the Suspend or Cancel to abort and discontinue the Suspend.
