What kind of security does Comcast Vault offer?
Comcast Vault offers robust security when you access and share your Secure Backup and Share backup data. Unauthorized users cannot access your files on Comcast Vault as your credentials are stored in an encrypted form. Comcast Vault performs stringent authentication checks when a user tries to view files shared by you.
The Comcast Vault password is also extremely secure. Under no circumstances is it accessible to anyone, even members of the Comcast Vault team. As long as you do not reveal your password to others, your data is safe. The Comcast Vault password is transmitted over the Web using a secure and encrypted form, and therefore is not traceable. We recommend that you log-off from Comcast Vault after use, and not select the Remember Me option when accessing Comcast Vault from another computer other than your own.
