Managing My User Accounts

When you log in for the first time as the primary account holder, all the storage space for your plan is allocated to your computer. If you plan to add any Secondary users, you must first reduce the space allocated to your computer to provide space for them.

The primary account holder can register up to six Secondary users with this service. Secondary users must be associated with your comcast.net account. When you add a Secondary user, you must specify the number of computers that user will be backing up and the amount of storage allocated to each of those computers.

Note: You cannot allocate more storage space than your plan provides.

Secondary users may only change their passwords and import contacts. They cannot change any other information.

The primary account holder can perform these tasks on the Manage My User Accounts tab:


  • Change password
  • Import contacts
  • Change how storage space is allocated among computers
  • Add and delete users
  • Add and delete computers
  • Suspend and reactivate computers
  • Replace a computer
