Adding a Secondary User

As the primary account holder, you can register up to six Secondary users with this service. Secondary user names must already be associated with your comcast.net account. You must specify the number of computers that each user will back up files for. When you add a computer, you will allocate storage for it. You can not allocate more storage than you have available.

To add a Secondary user:

  1. Log in to your Comcast Vault site. For more information, see Accessing Comcast Vault Using a Web Browser.
  2. Click Account, then log in again. For more information, see Accessing Manage My User Accounts.
  3. Click the Users and Settings tab. The Manage My User Accounts page appears.

  4. In the User Settings section, click Add User. The Add User page appears.

  5. Enter information for the Secondary user in the following fields:
    Field Description
    Email The comcast.net email address for a someone already associated with your comcast.net account
    First Name The first name of this Secondary user
    Last Name The last name of this Secondary user
    Number of Computers The number of computers this Secondary user will be backing up
    Storage per Computer The amount of storage for each of this Secondary user's computers
  6. Click Save, then click OK. The Secondary user is added to your Comcast Vault site and to the list of users you manage.
