Setting Up Your Comcast Vault Website

On the Setup Vault Website page, you create the link for accessing and sharing your backed up files from a browser. The address is Vault Website Name.comcastvault.net, where Vault Website Name is your choice of 4 to 30 characters. This will be validated to ensure that it does not belong to anyone else.

You have to opt into creating a Comcast Vault Website. For more information, see Registering the Primary Account Holder and Selecting a Plan.

Note: You cannot change the name of your Comcast Vault Website after you have created it.

  1. In the Comcast Vault Website field, enter a name that is 4 to 30 characters long.
    Note: This is the unique part of the address you use to access and share your backed up files. You cannot change this name after it has been created.
  2. (Optional) If the name that you entered is already in use, three suggestions appear that you can choose from. Or, you can enter a different name in the Comcast Vault Website field yourself.
    Tip: Write the name down very carefully so you can later access it using your web browser and then save it as a favorite or bookmark.
    Note: Your Comcast Vault Website will be ready after your initial backup is complete. When it is ready, you will receive an email notification.
