Getting Started

This topic provides high level steps to get you started using Comcast Vault.

Step 1 - Back up content

You must already be using Secure Backup and Share to start using Comcast Vault. Secure Backup and Share backs up your data so that you can access it using Comcast Vault.

If you have not yet installed Secure Backup and Share, go to http://security.comcast.net/backup/ and choose a suitable backup solution, install it, and use it to back up your data to Secure Backup and Share servers.

Step 2 - Access Comcast Vault

Once your first backup with Secure Backup and Share is complete, you can start using Comcast Vault. You do not need to install any application on your computer. You only need a compatible Web browser to start using your personal Comcast Vault site. Step 3 - Manage, upload, and share files

Organize your files, create collections, photo albums, and playlists, and share them. For more information, see Using Comcast Vault and Sharing Data. You can also upload files from your computer to your online Comcast Vault account. For more information, see Uploading Files.
