Editing Information About Collections, Albums, and Playlists

You can edit information associated with file collections, photo albums, and music playlists in your Comcast Vault account. Changing this information in Comcast Vault does not affect the actual files on your computer.

To edit information associated with a collection, photo album, or playlist:

  1. In Comcast Vault, open one of these pages.
    • Everything
    • Photos
    • Music
    Previously created collections, photo albums, and playlists are shown in the pane below the View By pane.
  2. Select a collection, photo album, or playlist.
  3. Click , and then The Properties dialog box appears for the selected collection, album, or playlist.

  4. Change the title for the collection, photo album, or playlist, in the Title field.
  5. Change the description in the Description field.
  6. In the Access field, select one the following options:
    • Public - Items shared as Public can be accessed by all. These files will be found by Web search engines.
    • Unlisted - Items shared as Unlisted can be accessed by all, but cannot be found by Web search engines.
    • Sign-Up Required - Items shared as Sign-Up Required can be accessed by guest users only after signing up with Comcast Vault.
    Note: Collections with music and video files can only be shared with guest users who have been invited using the Sign-up Required option. If you are creating a playlist from the Music page, you do not have the option for access permissions. In addition, music files cannot be downloaded or played from shared playlists or collections.
  7. Click OK.
