Playing Music from Your Playlists

You can play songs directly in Comcast Vault with the built-in music player. You can play songs on the Music, Everything, and Sharing Center pages.

Comcast Vault supports the following audio formats:


  • mp3
  • aac
  • m4a
  • m4p
  • wma
  • ogg
  • oga
  • flac
  • rm
  • rma

To play songs with music player built-in to the Music page in Comcast Vault, perform one of the following actions:


  • In the Playlists pane, right-click a playlist and click Play.
  • In the main pane, select the songs you want to play and click in the embedded player.
    Tip: To select multiple songs, hold down the Ctrl or Shift key.
  • In the main pane, double-click a song.
  • In the main pane, right-click a song and select Play.
  • In the main pane, select a song and click in the bottom toolbar.

You can also perform any of these actions with the built-in music player:


  • To mute or unmute the speaker and to control the volume, use the control.
  • To pause playing a song, click . Click to resume playing the song.
  • To play the previous song, click .
  • To play the next song, click .
  • To play songs randomly from a playlist, click .
  • If you have navigated away from the current playlist, click to go back to the playlist that is playing currently.

To play music in the Comcast Vault while you are organizing files and photos, you must have the Music page open in a separate browser window.
