Removing Items From a Collection, Album, or Playlist

To remove the items, perform one of the following actions.
- Right-click the items you selected and select Remove.
- Click
in the top toolbar.
Note: This button is not available on the Music page.
If you remove a photo from a photo album that is shared with Facebook, the photo is not automatically deleted from Facebook. Visit your Facebook account and delete it manually.
If you do not want a file in a photo album to be available on the Photos page, right-click the file, and select Remove from Photos. However, the file will be shown on the Everything page.
Note: You cannot remove files from a smart collection, smart photo
album, or smart playlist. However, you can hide items if you do
not want them to be shown in any list. See
