Tagging a Contact

You can tag contacts to better organize them, which in turn helps in easy and quick retrieval.

To tag a contact:

  1. In Comcast Vault, open the Address Book page, and then select the contacts you want to tag.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Right-click the contacts and select Tag.
    • Click in the top toolbar.
    The Manage Tags dialog box appears.

  3. In the Enter New Tag field, enter a tag for the contact. Enter multiple tags separated by commas or semicolons.

    Each tag can comprise of multiple terms, each separated by a space.

  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Close when you have added all the tags needed for the contact. The selected contacts are tagged with the tag you specified.
To remove a tag, click X next to the tag name in the Tags on selected files field.
